@gospvg Great combo, I also have a nexus 7 and a htc 8x. I have to say that facebook for instance on the nexus 7 blows the facebook on the 8x out of the water.

I'll try to describe my problem the best I can. It all started maybe 2-3 weeks ago. My screen won't turn on when I recieve texts, whatsapp messages or any notifications. When I recieve a call, I can answer but after the call ends the screen stays turned off until the other person on the line...

It could be the jack or the headphones. If you are using the ones that came with the phone, you could have gotten a faulty pair. Try borrowing other people's headphones to isolate this possibility.

I get 0.5 idle drainage /hour with only location on. I would say it's pretty good.

Thank you for the good tips kind sir, but I can't seem to find where to change theese settings. When I got my phone, I popped in the microsim and the apn was automatically configured, and under mobile network I can't find where to switch from ipv6 to ipv4.

The only lag I experience is when opening the store and hitting the search button. I start typing 4-5 letters, it gets the first one and after a couple of seconds the others appear. Other than that it's all good.

It's a great phone if you don't need specific apps to get by. I for one only need facebook, twitter, foursquare,whatsapp, shazam, metrotube and metrogram. I get bored quickly of games so I don't have any, and my nexus 7 tablet is on it's way, so I'm pretty much covered when it comes to...

What are your favorite settings? Do you keep yours on 6 M or 8 M and all the settings on default. I have my black 8x for 3 days now and can't get the hang of this phone's camera.
