Samsung Galaxy A70 which is superb, iPhone 6s which "just works", Galaxy Note 4 with a cracked screen but I won't part with it. And an unreliable, constantly rebooting, obsolete and unsupported Lumia 830. But I forgive all it's faults when it does work

What can Windows Phone do that ios and android can't? Lose support from the manufacturer in a few weeks time with no chance of new phones ever becoming available. Unforgivable.

I love my L830 but these days it's about as reliable as a chocolate teapot. If it works at all, every app crashes after a about three minutes at best. Such a pity.

I had a 6303i. The look and feel of that phone was superb. A Nokia at their peak. Happy days, thanks for reminding me. I just looked on Amazon and found some for sale at around the price I paid more than a decade ago. I can almost feel that beautiful, cold steel in my hand right now.

I agree. Much as we'd want it to be true, Nokia is no longer the Nokia we knew and could trust. Ditto with Blackberry. I've been tempted to buy a phone from both of these reincarnations to replace my trusted Lumia but.......... No thanks.

This app stopped working for me a month ago. There was no way I could log in, just got a pop up saying something about Tapatalk. I've checked every day, three times a day and got the same pop up. I nearly dropped the phone in my shock at finding it's working again!

Thank you for replying. Disconnect / Reconnect doesn't help. The only fix I've found is to switch off the phone for a couple of minutes and then it reconnects automatically. I think you're correct about it being due to failing equipment though. Unfortunately it's my 830 that seems to be failing.

My 830 is on 1607. It happens on both but most annoyingly on saved networks that were always trouble free until recently. Thanks for your reply

This has been happening with my L830 for a few weeks now. It's infuriating and very inconvenient. The only fix I've found, when I absolutely need a WiFi connection, is to switch the phone off, wait a minute, then switch it on again and it connects immediately to the WiFi source it previously...
