i'm using the developer preview and i'm not getting any location based reminders. I've reset the phone a few times, reset Cortana with no luck. i'm not sure, but I don't think they've ever worked with this phone. worked fine on the 8x. anyone else experience this?

yes, I am. drained over 10% overnight, in the last 8 hours. I had no issues with the developer preview, so it's something Verizon has done.

ever since gdr2, my 8x lasts up to 5 days without recharging. prior to gdr2, I would get a day and a half, maybe 2 days. now, I get at least 4 days and sometimes 5 days. after gdr3, nothing has changed, right now the battery app shows 5 days and 9 hours remaining.

you can do it. swipe in from the side, and choose settings and then change pc settings select accounts. i'm not sure of the exact verbiage, but I think it's something like disconnect, then you can use your local account. if you have issues, post back.
