I thought it was just mine that was so unresponsive. Sometimes it doesn't work even if Jesus returns from heaven, but if you press the Home (Windows) button, the Back button returns to full functionality. Try it.

I feel that the bottom buttons (I dont know the "official" name for it - Back, Start and Search) are a bit unresponsive. You have to tap almost in the exact middle of the button... The 820 has a huge contact area in these buttons, while the 830 has a really smart one. Also, the earphone "hole"...
