I use a surface pro 3 in a dock most of the time. It 'loses' external drives all the time. I have to unplug and plug them back in, maybe restart as well. Started with win10, was fine with win8.1

yep - I have a thread on this - Edge not retaining state - it worked for a bit and then becomes pretty much unusable for multiple tabs. I would much rather MS had waited until Edge worked
