My 950XL developed a really weird bug. When I tap the phone app icon, instead of opening the phone app, it takes me to the store. Same happens if I tap the phone app in the menu. So basically I cannot call anyone that is not in my phonebook. I also cannot see missed calls, call history etc...

Same crap happened to me once on 950XL. Only solution was hard reset and a new setup. Restore from backup made it the same:(

I know what you mean, but I am referring to common problem, when you connect an ultra HD device (like surface 4pro) to external screen, which only has full HD resolution.

I read that MS will address the blurry fonts issue in Fall creators update, so we wouldn't have to log-out and log-in in order to get rid of blurry fonts when docking or undocking hi-res devices like surface. Only a restart of the app would be required. But guess what? It doesn't work, at least...

My friend had a similar problem. MS sent him a new one under warranty. If you are from Europe, you should have 2 years of warranty.

You are saying that when plugged to power, wifi is working ok? And on battery it doesn't work? Did you check all possible power settings? I think this could be a power saving problem.

Is there any chance, that you have a slow MicroSD card in the device?

Did you try to reset/reinstall windows completely?

Try to change the browser or/and use adblock. That should help.

Just a thought: It seems to me, that if I have my surface on the desk and open, it's running a lot cooler, compared to closed and lying.
