if its hardware failure then why does camera work if i am on gdr1,2 or 3? it just refuses to load under 8.1, looks like more software related to me i have reverted back to gdr2 with csc ato and then updated my phone via official source at least 10 times already :(

well the reason I am sure (maybe I am wrong) camera issue has nothing to do with flashing different roms is because it started before I flashed first time any rom and since then nothing changed. few months ago I've been running gdr3 that i received via ota and i enrolled into d.preview and...

downgraded not only to GDR2, but 1 and 3 as well, hard resets, soft resets, different roms and now even different csc as many countries have started receiving official updates except ATO, tried only official updates and also tried official updates alongside with Dev preview, tried with different...

so, so many days trying to make my camera load under 8.1, no solution found, feeling like will throw my ativ s in nearest garbage can :amaze: pretty sure used almost all tricks, no solution found

did not work out for me :( reverted to gdr2 ETL, then updated to gdr3 with the firmware you mentioned, after that could not switch to ATO as could not activate diagnosis menu (first time since i have this phone) so i installed DP and upgraded via that to 8.1 and no camera again

I don't get the point, if you've seen my previous posts I did almost everything. can you please explain to me what good switching to ETL will do? because moving on ATO as i already wrote did not help with my camera issue in 8.1, Dprev. also can't solve it
