Yeah, I've had the exact same issues since I bought my 950 about 2 months ago. I've been trying to find a solution to no avail. It's an extremely frustrating series of issues, especially coming from the near flawless experience on 8.1!

I started charging my Lumia 928 with the Surface charger about a month ago. It charged it fine and quick. Only thing I noticed was over the past weeks the Surface has been saying 'plugged in, not charging' more and more and now it doesn't charge it at all. Does the same thing on my mom's Surface...

I'd love the 950 XL, because although my 928 has aged gracefully, it's nearing the end of it's days.

The main performance difference I notice with the Surface 3 with Windows 10 is battery life. While I'd say on 8.1 it lived up to their "all day" battery life claim. It no longer lasts through the day. No big deal since I much prefer Windows 10, but on the Surface 4 that's the main thing I want...

Only when browsing on certain sites on Chrome and playing CPU intensive games do I notice it getting uncomfortably hot. But that's to be expected.
