Took during a lovely day spent on Angel Island, SF in September. I used my Lumia 930 with Rich Capture.

I started using the Interval mode: it turns off the screen the same way as peek does, when there is no light, but waving over the sensor works every time for me! It just stays on a little longer when the cell is in full light, but I think it's worth giving it a try! ;)

Try locking you phone in a dark room, after updating your lumia to black, then hover your hand over the sensor. Does it really work?

After some investigation, it looks like the problem arises when locking the screen with low light (try covering the light sensor with a finger to simulate that): waving your hand over the sensor, after locking the screen that way, won't do anything... Instead, after locking the screen when the...

I don't use glance background... And after checking out better today, I can say the error still stands after hard reset...

I will report later more accurately, but it looks like the issue still stands... It's weird too, as it looks like it works fine shortly after the glance screen disappears. If you wait 'long enough' (I can't tell how much is "enough"), glance screen just won't show up anymore... I guess we're...

I have the same problem, too! Have had issues since Lumia Black update, coming from the Developer Preview of GDR3. Tried a soft reset immediately, but the issue came back after a few days... Will try an hard reset now, and see if it works.
