    i have this issue too with 8.1, you could use UC browser for now , for some reason it works just fine strange since it uses the kernel of the IE.

    i use for the lockscreen lockmix: Lockmix | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (India) or lockie: Lockie | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (India) but now lockie changed their default UI for the lockscreen after the last update. and for the weather i use amazing weather HD it is the best weather app...
