Also, if it is the noise cancellation software/hardware then I would suspect that any replacement phones sent out by AT&T will still have the exact same mic problem. I can only hope that mine actually will be improved with the new phone replacement.

I understand that but I couln't get any substantial improvement by covering top mic under case, over case, etc, etc. Could be noise cancellation software but you would think that would be easy for HTC to identify and fix. Hopefully time will tell.

I love my Titan....except the mic muffling issue is very frustrating. This is amazing that it hasn't been discovered yet by HTC and AT&T and fixed. AFter trying everything without success, including the tape on top mic, AT&T is sending me a "refurbished" titan. Has anyone actually found that...

TITAN muffled mic Ok, well I love my TITAN. Better than my iphone 4.....EXCEPT....people cant hear me. Been through the master reset, all the updates, talked to AT&T as well as HTC. Even this morning they told me this is not a known issue to have a muffled mic. I tried multiple sound tests...
