Hmm. Maybe this card is just a little bit chubbier than most. I'll fiddle with it more. As for NAS, my Surface 2 connects to it just fine as a mapped drive. It just won't let you map it to a library. So Xbox music won't look at a NAS for media files at all.

So I recently added a 64gb MicroSD card to my Surface so I can have a place to store my music. We have a NAS, but sadly Windows RT won't connect to those. Anyway, I say "for life" because I don't think this thing will ever come out. It went in there extremely tightly and I think it is not fused...

I fully expect it to get scratches and scuffs on it over time. It is a mobile device after all. I'm just surprised at how quickly and easily it is happening. I take great care of my stuff as well. It's often used on my lap with the kickstand. And if ots used flat, the touch cover is folded back...

So, I've had my Surface since launch day and I love it! However, I'm not loving how easily scratched the back is getting. My surface stays at home and doesn't travel much, pretty much living on my coffee table. But I've been noticing the back is getting pretty scratched despite not rubbing...

I am having this exact same problem. DRM definitely sounds like a possible cause, but is there any idea of how to fix this? None of my installed apps work.
