In a jacket pocket (soft interior). No, it seems to be radiating from the screen, working its way further out.

Now I have had a chance to take some photos I have also submitted a support ticket to HTC. Not sure what stance they are going to take though...

I have noticed recently that the paint on my HTC Radar is peeling off. I look after my phone, have no marks or scratches, but the paint has nearly all worn/peeled off on the front looking terrible. The phone is only 4 months old. Has anyone else experienced this?

Well the screen tearing issue has fixed itself. Didn't have a chance to charge my battery the other day and the phone switched itself off, and upon turning it back on after a recharge the screen issues have gone away.
