It's almost been a week with my new 950XL and I have to say that I have not had any major issues with it. I LOVE the Windows Hello feature...It's quicker, no freezing issues, and things are working as they should. I have not been frustrated as I was with the 640XL. I haven't been afraid to know...

Go with T-Mobile...I switched from Verizon, who were ripping me off, to T-Mobile. My family & me get WAY MUCH more for our money and the service is not bad at all...Even if you live in a trouble spot, like we do, T-Mobile will help you out for FREE!! They will hook you up with one of their...

My reasons why I am unhappy with the 640XL are posted on page 3 of this thread...I received my 950XL yesterday. So far, it's way better than my 640XL experience (knock on wood). I will update in more detail after using it throughout the weekend.

Well, once I receive my 950XL, I'll give it a go and try it out. Worst case, I'll just return it if it's as bad as people say...being an IT guy I'm very particular about my electronics...

I have ordered mine, as well as an SP4:excited:, and will be getting it on Tuesday...I will then follow up after a week's time as to my experience with my 950XL...Thank you all for your input thus far!!

Re: Should I buy a 950XL or wait for the "Surface Phone"?? OK what am I waiting for?? This version of W10 is what will be pushed out to your phones. Maybe a slight different version update but all in all I should be running with no issues now.

That is exactly why I'm going to pick up a 950XL. As someone pointed out what I had said in my original post, that I am not happy with my 640XL. I just want a F'n phone that works decent enough where it doesn't freeze up on me in front of others!! I had issues with the ICON and with the 640XL...

Wait...What's a cassette player?? LOL...Your car has a cassette player still and you own a 950?? :shocked: :winktongue:

Thanks...this is going to be a major purchase for me. I'm just not fully sold on the design of the Surface Book. It seems clunky & awkward. A little on the heavy side (not that I have a major problem with that but compared to the SP4). I do like the bigger screen. That is what is mainly pulling...
