What do you mean "it will eventually get removed?" Does that mean it is removed from your inbox only, but goes into Trash? Or is it archived? Or removed completely from everything (not in trash, not archived... just gone)? I'd prefer to not have it removed from everything. I like having 30...

Did anyone ever figure this out? I'm having the exact same problem as MikeEggleston. clemon79 mentioned that when he deletes something, it goes to the "Deleted Items" folder on the GMail web UI (i.e. it has the Deleted Items label applied to it). Mine used to do that, but it no longer does...
