A follow up to this. I got it working by turning off the setting to Connect to Xbox Music and then powering down the phone. I then turned phone back on and changed the setting back on and now the SmartDJ works using music on the SD card. Sent from my Nokia 822 using Tapatalk

What brand and type of SD card are you using?

I have had this happen a couple of times. Rebooting the phone seems to take care of it for me.
