I think the key thing to getting an app to display in the notification center is for it to send a toast notification first. In your Facebook app, make sure notifications are set to 'Toast and Live Tile'. Then get someone to post a message on your page or whatever. After the app sends the toast...

I think the thing is make sure you have toast and live tile set in your Facebook notification settings. I think it's the toast notification that puts Facebook in the notification center initially.

So yeah, just noticed my phone is doing the same thing. Screen does not rotate anymore. Downloaded one of the diagnostic apps and the accelerometer test does not work either. Would be nice if this was a software issue and not a hardware problem.

Yeah, the new phone is perfect with all the same apps installed. Seems to be a fairly uncommon issue, you are the only other case I have heard of.
