Since reinstalling Windows 7, I have not been able to get any updates what so ever. Contacted Microsoft support and all they did was make the Win 10 icon appear. So I registered to get 10 upgrade. Problem is that nothing was fixed and Windows Update still gets error when checking for updates...

Hopefully I can find it in a week or so, when I buy one. Seems that the first couple of weeks, the phone might be hard to find. Still not sure how Amazon doesn't have it yet. Seems to be rather limited stock

Tried an otg cable on my lumia 635 and no luck. Is otg cable support not yet implemented or is it limited to certain phones? Would be nice being able to connect to a printer or flash drive.(transfer files)

Other than the obvious upgrades like ram, is it faster? Was the 512mb of ram holding it back?

My only gripe with the lumia 635 is that when watching a video the keys never go away. I remember it auto-hiding only on the Microsoft video app, but on nothing else. So is this still the case with the 640? Heard that since the 635 was 480p it couldn't be done. So can it be done now?

So if I heard it right, if you are on the insider builds from a clean install, you can't go full genuine right? I know you can continue to be a beta tester and still genuine that way, but no other option. btw I did do a clean install, so no way to put in win 7 key. So if I reinstall Windows 7...

Tried soft resetting and nothing. Some apps update,others don't.

I keep getting errors when try to install them. Been days and 5 of my apps fail to update every time. Is this a bug on the latest preview Tried hard reset and nothing. Updates start installing, but always fail.

When I try to update apps, I get error above. Says tap to check the problem,try again and fails. Soft reset and still same problem. Also Onedrive shows no files, says its loading, but nothing. I am signed in to it. One of the updates is for OneDrive, but won't update. Any ideas on fixing...

Lumia 635 was $130 on release,so still same price range. Phone will be out around July,maybe. Going to wait a couple of months before buying, the price always drops steadily.

That's the part I don't like Imo. They should give you 100mb headroom once storage expires. So you can still at least edit/upload documents. Once it expires,OneDrive is useless if you went way over. By what I understood,I wont even be able to upload my HW that's a couple of kb's!
