All you need to do is look at your TV - virtually all of those Windows Phone ads (especially the really catchy ones with the "simplicity" theme) are from Verizon. They are pushing it pretty hard and no doubt are a bit torqued at the OEMs for not having enough on hand. The OEMs should know better...

Meanwhile all of the Verizon stores in my area are aggressively pushing Windows Phone. I even got to watch one of the sales associates showing people why they don't need a Facebook app in Windows Phone because of the deep integration. If you run into negative experiences at corporate Verizon...

If they are doing what you describe then they SHOULD be in trouble at work because they are violating company policies about customer care and also promotion of products.

I have Skype installed and running and am getting superb battery life - used about 21% of the charge in a 6 hour period. And yes it charged up to 100%.

It works well enough (Verizon 8X). As I type more on it the predictives are getting way better.
