Movies and TV on Movies Anywhere.

Why won't Movies and TV connect to movies anywhere? It used to connect to Disney anywhere but that was even disabled a while ago? Does Microsoft really expect consumers to stick with thier products if they keep shutting things down? I guess the answer is self evident uh? Do you know of it was MS...

W10m's search button equivalent in iOS & Android?

I have the Bing app by the main home button on my Android phone. Very easy and convenient to use. But like the user before me said you can map Cortana to the home button as well.

Will Windows Central survive the death of Windows Mobile?

I've been done with Thurrott for a while. Constantly negative and may I say overly arrogant. One of my favorite sites was Surface Geeks. But they changed everything up and now I'm not joining them either

    That's it. I'm done.

Android is terrible on tablets, but is very usable on phones now, since Lollipop actually. But, actually I think (and I can't believe I'm going to say it) that iOS is the most stable of them all. And of course you'll get all the latest and greatest apps.

    Lumia Lawsuit Anyone?

Unfortunately you would have no leg to stand on. This is the world of consumer phones and electronics. Phones come and go all the time. You bought a product and got some life out of it. It's just time to move on, Microsoft certainly has. [emoji4]

Is not just the App Gap, is also the Quality of Apps

The answer is, less than 1% of the market. That's the real answer. Why should they put any effort into it for such little return?

I keep coming back to Windows Phone

Choice is very important. That's why I really wanted Win Phone to do well. Plus I really loved it. Consumers win with choice. Unfortunately I had no choice but to leave.

I keep coming back to Windows Phone

But on the flip side please don't tell me there isn't an app problem. I understand your point, but you must see that you are in the minority. A platform can not and will not succeed without dev support. Windows Phone does not have it.

I keep coming back to Windows Phone

Re: I Keep coming back to WP I so miss the reading if my texts. I hope Cortana will read texts on Android soon

I keep coming back to Windows Phone

For those that say app gap is not a problem I say just wait until it is. You need to look at the overall dev support and WP does not have it. Weather it be IoT, or Wearables, banking and so on. You just never see "supported on WP". The gap may not bother you now, but it will eventually because...

I keep coming back to Windows Phone

Re: I Keep coming back to WP I felt the same way. I went to Android last year. I'm hear to stay. The app gap is too large. I travel all the time for work and I actually need the apps that aren't on WP. One more huge reason is I am on Verizon, there are no choices for WP. I didn't leave WP, it...

    Refund problems

I think the wearable market is one big question mark right now. I went from the MS band to Pebble and then they just got bought out and are no more. There just aren't going to be any garuantees for us early adopters.

Unable to connect to WIFI hotspot with 802.1x

If they are using .1X are they expecting a certificate? If they are using peap or TLS or TTLS they would require a certificate to be loaded. Maybe when you wiped it out it cleared the cert.
