Not true, when you press and hold the Search icon button, Cortana will begin listening no matter what you're doing on your phone, even while the phone is locked.

I can now confirmed it is software related. After writing my last post, I decided to register my phone as a developer and install preview for developers. I then updated my phone to the latest firmware and the freezing problem is gone!!!

I think it's software related because I noticed it only happens when I open an app that uses the phone's GPS system. If I open any other apps my phone behaves normally but, as soon as I open an app that uses the GPS (Waze, Nokia Drive+, GPS Voice Navigation, etc...) my touch screen freezes...

No it's not! Only files folders.... No apps... I don't think you're talking about the right app... If you're talking about this app: Files | Windows Phone Apps+Games Store (United States) What you see are file folders, not the actual apps so if you delete the folder, the app stays on your...

I tried what you're saying but I cannot do this. The app "files" is for files on the phone.... I can delete files but I can't delete apps!!!

Could you please elaborate this? "FILES" is an app to search for files on your phone... How does it uninstall apps??? My problem is that Whatsapp is frozen in my phone! Won't uninstall and won't open.... Unbelievable but true ....

Tried to reinstall from the web and my PC and nothing... and Like I said in my post, I can't uninstall either so.....

Today I tried to open Whatsapp on my L920 and the app wouldn't open! Tried to reboot, soft reset the phone too and nothing. Even tried to uninstall the app and it just won't uninstall !!!! I'm stuck now! I really don't want to have to hard reset my phone... :angry:

Tried to open the app today and it wouldn't open. So I restarted and soft-resetted my phone and still wouldn't open. I then decided to uninstall it and to my surprise, I CANNOT UNINSTALL IT EITHER! When I hold the Whatsapp icon until the menu comes out and click on "uninstall", It doesn't do...

Forget Cortana alpha. In your phone settings, just set your region to "United States" and you'll get the full Cortana !!! :wink:

Tethering works fine on Rogers ROM.
