Tried everything possible, it was definitely trying to download - but stuck. I ended up using tE WDRT (again) and switching to the Release Preview ring. I'm too nervous to switch to Fast or Slow in case I get stuck with the same issue all over again.

I used the WDRT, reverted to an old build, joined the Release Preview ring and installed 14393. I've now updated all apps in the store and rebooted several times. I'm hesitant to change to the Fast or Slow ring in case I encounter the same problem over again. However I'm determined to get to the...

WDRT works as expected, Windows Update downloads build 14393 without issues, then in the same reboot it installs the Fast Ring Confg, and then I can't download 15047. This happens every time I use the WDRT

I did that twice. It hung at 42% for 24 hours the first time, then 96% the second... I've just tried an experiment. Turned off WiFi on my phone and tried to install Facebook and Messenger from the Store. Both are taking a long time to download (KB at a time) I think there may be a bigger issue...

No, two different providers. I've tried the DRT, resetting, removing my SIM. Still no good. It's making my phone red hot each time it hangs, causes the phone to slow down in general and slows other downloads to a snail's pace

Hi all, The last two (15043 &15047) Fast Ring builds haven't downloaded for me - they both hang for hours during the download stage. I've tried everything from using the WDRT to wipe the phone and try updating from an earlier build, switching branches, removing the SIM and trying the above...

Removed my SIM, used the WDRT to go back to an older build.. Download still hanging at 38% after an hour and a half... I'd give up but like with 15043, my battery will keep draining trying to download the update. FRUSTRATING.

Have tried the WDRT about 5 times now. Not without my SIM though. I'll try that next, it just jumped from 42% after several hours to 78% but still hanging. No idea why this has happened for both of the most recent builds after never having issues before

15047 is hanging on my 950 XL too. Why is this happening? Even if I use the DRT or soft reset, when I try to download, it hangs for hours every time

I used the DRT to start fresh (didn't install backups), after the download hanging several times. I'd wiped it using the DRT and tried soft/hard resets.. Still no luck getting it to download. It's been hanging on 81% for a bit over 9 hours now

Once again used the DRT to wipe my 950 XL and try again (switched to the Slow Ring and tried downloading)... It's been hanging at 81% for 9 hours...... Frustrating!

Been trying to get this to download on my 950 XL for a couple days now. It keeps hanging during download and not progressing past certain percentages for hours and hours. I've tried the Device Recovery Tool twice, tried resetting the phone, restarting etc etc... Same problem. Just won't download
