For the past few years, Microsoft has had a Pi Day special on March 14th, where you can get a year's worth for 31.41 (or 2, I can't remember if they rounded up). I haven't heard anything about them doing it this year, though.

I have noticed that when I travel, it will continue to say that I'm connected to LTE, but I have no data connection. I don't know if it has a problem switching towers or what exactly is the problem, but I don't see it in my normal day-to-day use.

Re: Lumia Icon w Demin slow to take photos Mine does that if I take multiple pictures in a row with Rich Capture on, but it is fine when it is off. I think RC is more for pictures that are set up and slow paced. I would suggest turning it off when doing lots of shots or action shots.

While I agree that it is still too early to tell, I don't think how they handled Xbox Music in 8.1 was the right way to do it and I am afraid that Windows 10 will be similar. Yes, they have updated the 8.1 app many times, but it still isn't a good product. I'd rather them take a little longer...

I just went to all of the Verizon stores in my area and none of them had the Windows Phone version of the M8 on display. Heck, when I spoke to a guy at the main branch, he said it must be online-only. They did have the Icon, Ativ, and 8X on display, though.

That's not true at all. Look at the 1020 camera, ClearBlack technology, and the Surface's kick stand (and dock), for examples. They are pretty "bells and whistles"-y. Not sure how good that analogy is. I'd rather have one really fun lap instead of being able to go all day in a bumper car, haha.

HTC Imagio (still probably my favorite, despite such old technology), Samsung Focus, HTC Trophy (easily my least favorite), Nokia Lumia 822, HTC 8X. I switch between the 822 and the 8X pretty regularly. They both have flaws that are made more obvious by the other.
