Hello. I didn't really know where to post this hardware question, so I'm starting it in the O.T. category. I'm hoping someone here can offer me some useful information. I've placed a posting in the Acer -> Gaming -> Predator Monitors community site back on 10-19, but so far nobody has replied...

Yeah, I guess expecting a site called "Windows Central" to work on a "Windows" phone using "Windows Edge" really IS too much to expect.

As of a day or two ago, I can't bring up the Windows Central news/blog on my L1520 running WM10 in Edge. What loads is some type here and there, a GIGANTIC ad that you can't even see what it's for, and a few more sentences. I can't click on anything or even scroll. Has even W.C. abandoned WM10...

Interestingly enough, I haven't yet tried any of soft and/or hard reset suggestions, but "suddenly" today I'm receiving phone call and voicemail notifications. I was suspect that I was not receiving my voicemails because people said they'd called, but I had no indication that anyone had left a voicemail. Today I manually called the voicemail number and I had TWENTY-ONE freaking voicemails!!!! Some of them were doctor-related, so this is just NOT...

So, this is happening to me again, and this time I don't seem to be able to fix it. Every time I open Edge, it opens full-screen, and I have a 34" screen and only want it to open on one half of the screen. For a while it will open exactly how I want, and then for no reason I know of, it will...

I guess that must be the "service charge" of assigning someone to deal with at State's Attorney General's office complaint. "Oh, YEAH! Fine, you'll GET your refund, but it's going to COST you, "One MILLION dollars! Um, I mean, one BILLION dollars." Okay, we'll just make it a penny." :winktongue:

Today I received a check in the mail from Microsoft for $174.99. I don't know what's up with the 1¢, but heck, at least I got a bit of a refund for my now defunct Band 2. All it took was one little call/email from my State Attorney General's "Consumer Complaints" department. :smile:

I'm in Washington state. If you're not, you should still file a complaint with your State Attorney General's consumer complaints division. If they're like mine in Washington state, they say they'll not represent you or your case in court, but if they find your complaint valid, they'll reach out...

Well, after contacting my State's Attorney General's consumer complaints department and filing a complaint against Microsoft for the Band fiasco, I was contacted by Microsoft and as of today, my check is in the mail. :grin:

P.S. - I believe the Gigabyte software also was able to control the two video cards since they are both Gigabyte video cards.
