We have text on video on our product backlog for MovieJax. Essentially, text on video is an effect, and we are focusing first on filter effects coming soon. We are then moving on to looking at transtions, audio and title effects as you describe.

bear in mind also we've gone from zero to tonnes of users in 1 day, it was a crazy first day and some users early on obviously got a lot of "please play!" random requests. Expect this to lessen as the usage grows (and believe me it is growing!).
