Really?!! I never knew about this. I thought they had updated all 925's and made them 4G enabled. I know don't anything about the firmware hack.

If your phone is still running on Windows Phone 8.1 then Microsoft had long ago released an update to that phone which had enabled 4G & you could select it in network options.

Sad to read. Anyway it doesn't matter to me because I am happy with the performance and stability of the last and final Anniversary Update and most importantly they had fixed the blank time zone bug.

Today while updating WhatsApp Windows 10 Mobile 1607 Store gave me this error code 0x80070019. I tried to reinstall it then also WhatsApp failed to install but this time Store gave me different error 0x8103010F. Is it only my phone that is not able to install it or is there anyone else also...

The method which OP has been following is too complicated and way too unnecessary. Just follow this post on WindowsCentral forums.windowscentral.com/windows-10-mobile/457217-tutorial-how-run-creators-update-your-older-lumia-device.html with this you'll be able to edit all the registry values.

Don't update your 925 to CU or FCU because maps won't work. Its better if you stick to Anniversary Update(1607) latest update is 10.0.14393.2551. I am also using the same phone. You can also spoof it as Lumia 830 which is only supported till Anniversary Update.

Yes, there is one more thing and it is very minor thing many might not have noticed it. Earlier battery saver used to turn on at 21% even though it was set at 20%(which used to annoy me a lot) now after the update battery saver starts at exactly 20%.

This issue has been resolved in the latest update to Anniversary Update(1607) of Windows 10 Mobile 10.0.14393.2551.
