Cover data pins (pin 2+3) on your USB cable plug, then it will charge your WP with no problem. My JVC KD-X220 now charging my Lumia 820.

I've installed Windows 10 on two different HP Pavilion laptops (dv5, g6), and the problem is that the scrolling function turns off automatically (will be unchecked) after every reboot. Tried with different versions of Synaptic driver, the newest and an older one, it's all the same.

Well....mine has stucked at 25% for hours. I was curious, and start the second restore process just before I went to bed, then in the morning....well it was still at 25%... So don't tell me this is impatience.

I was on dp 8.1 gdr1 (made a backup there), then I went back to 8.0 to install 8.1 + cyan, and installed dp 8.1 gdr 1 again. Yes, I did HR several tries, but it didn't help. But after I wrote this post intresting things happened... My restore stucked at 25% again, but now I didn't just take out...

Just wanna say thank you dear MS, for your cyan update, because restore function doesn't work, and I've lost all of my previous data. I tried to restore it about 10 times, but it always stucked at 25% and goes nowhere. This function has worked properly before cyan update, what the hell...

Skype is BS on phones, and the Windows 8 metro app is sucks also. Am not able to manage my contacts, can't set my online status to busy, or away (just visible/invisible), no timestamps, no further options, can't send a picture, even a file. I can't even see my full contact list, when I first saw...

Did you turn off wifi sense, background tasks, etc?

If still doesn't work, try switch on/off backup option, or try a soft reset (hold volume down while switch on the phone).

It's very important to turn off wifi sense! It uses a lot of juice in the background. Forgot to tell at the beginning. :)

Do you have enough free space on Ondrive? Try to delete your windows live account on the phone then add it again.

Delete your previous data, and try it again. Are you using wifi or cellular connection?

Just do a backup to cloud, it's save your phone settings, downloaded applications (phone will download then reinstall them automatically), saved accounts (needs input just passwords again), and now in 8.1 start screen tiles. U can backup all your sms too.

Same on 520, caused by Viber's last update, it's not a "WP8.1 only" issue. I had this problem on 8.0 too. Contact Viber by email and report the problem, I did it 2 weeks ago.

Do a phone hard reset, and a full battery drain (phone switch off by itself). Maybe your battery/charge controller is uncalibrated, and the battery doesn't get a full charge. I had the same problem, and it's fixed now. Oh, and do NOT install battery pro+ application ever....
