Bought a 640, used my account, signed up for Insider and installed W10. Now I wanted to give this to my mom for Christmas so I did a hard reset. It didn't go back to 8.1, stayed on 10. Now using her Hotmail account on the phone with no Insider and it's trying to install an update for 10 but...

I'm looking for the same thing as you. Best I found so far is CorePlayer. Groove Music works fine too. Both of those will play whatever you have in your Music folder.

950 for me. Perfect size IMO, all the storage I could want, wireless charging plus fast charge plus USB C 3.1 Didn't skimp on anything, it's quite future-proofed.

Re: why uninstalled apps are showing in the 'my apps' instead of installed apps in the store.?? You can't as far as I know. The Windows Store is a mess. Would be nice to NOT have a list of everything you've ever downloaded from the Store.

To follow up if anyone else has this problem. I tried the Contact Support app that Microsoft won't let you delete from your phone. And they just blew me off. Told me to go to the support forums for help. So frustrating. Guess I have to suck it up and do a hard reset and lose everything.

App setting backup isn't even showing up for me. And I checked there are no backups on OneDrive. Maybe something to do with OneDrive? My Edge favorites are syncing. My texts aren't saving or syncing. I'm going to try to see if Microsoft support chat can help me. I'll try that tomorrow.

I already did that. Didn't work. Something is really messed up. Edge won't sync favorites, messages won't sync or backup. Camera Roll works. Don't know what's going on.

I'm having issues a plenty on this build. :eck: My Lumia 930 was just sitting on my desk and in just over an hour it died from over 30% doing nothing.

Try ShareFolder Explorer. Not as good as ES, but it works. I'm another convert. Ditched my Galaxy S5 for a Lumia 930. It is tough transition, but I think I'll make it work.
