What color will you choose for the Surface Laptop?

Burgundy, probably. I like the idea of a warm and unusual color.

Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter & Surface Pro 4

Thanks for the update - Chromecast it is, I suppose. Things seem to have improved a little after entering Google's beta firmware program.

    Should I get a Surface Pro 4?

I would seriously consider waiting for a Surface Pro 5 (or whatever they end up calling it), since it's probably just a few months away. That being said, I'm not sure what kind of delays the Philippines and surrounding regions see when it comes to new MS hardware.

Microsoft Wireless Display Adapter & Surface Pro 4

This is a tangent, but would anyone say the WDA might work as an alternative to a Chromecast? I have a v2 Chromecast, but my connection still seems to flake out at the drop of a hat.

On the Surface Pro 5 front, I would wait at this point unless you're like me and deliberately searching for a cheaper option. MS is doing discounts on the SP4 now for very obvious reasons.

Deal or No Deal - Surface Pro 4 pricing

That does seem good for something above minimum with the Type Cover included. I wonder though if MS shouldn't be knocking $100 (or its British equivalent, in this case) off the price of new Surface models to begin with.

Using Surface Pen with Photoshop CC

Yeah, I could definitely see myself using an app like this, at least if I end up doing "serious" work on a Surface. Photoshop CC is most definitely not built with a touchscreen in mind.

Using Surface Pen with Photoshop CC

Just curious - anyone here use their Pen to do editing with Photoshop? How is it? I'm so used to a mouse and keyboard at this point that I'm somehow distrustful of doing anything by hand.

How practical is the base-level Surface Pro 4?

I'd certainly prefer to get an i5 model if I can. Of course the ideal would be to get a configuration that's a little more future-proof (8GB of RAM, etc.), but Surfaces can get very pricey very quickly.

How practical is the base-level Surface Pro 4?

Thanks for feedback on that one, I'll check the other thread too. You should see the old VAIO in action - it keeps popping in and out of Aero graphics in Windows 7, even though it has a dedicated graphics card.

How practical is the base-level Surface Pro 4?

Here's the deal: I currently have a six-year-old Sony VAIO laptop that serves as backup for my desktop, in case I need to get work done just that badly. A Surface would potentially be a wonderful upgrade, but money is tight and frankly, I don't need something with desktop-level specs. So then -...
