What's your favorite VR Games or type of games?

I Ended up buying a Vive and I've got to say Super Hot VR is the reason VR exists. I worked up a sweat and had a blast playing it.

    Rift Vs. VIVE

So I've spent a little more time in it. It's got a nice feature to switch between "living room" and VR modes. Living room is what it sounds playing regular Minecraft on a large screen and VR is of course VR. All you have to do is tap the touchpad on the GearVR to toggle. However even with the VR...

    Rift Vs. VIVE

I haven't played a whole lot of the VR version but it appears to be the exact same as the Pocket Edition which I have played a lot of. The parity between the pocket version and the Bedrock edition on Windows 10 and consoles appears to be 1 to 1. The only major difference I've seen in the GearVR...

    Must-Try VR Games

Honestly I loved Space Pirate Trainer when I played it at a friends house. That and The Lab are two of the best demos for VR I've seen. Quick to pick up, but sometimes difficult to master.

    Rift Vs. VIVE

Of course if you really really need to play Minecraft Bedrock version in VR you can do so in a GearVR instead of buying a Rift.

HTC Vive Expert from VRHeads now on WC!

Is it all USB3 or some USB3 chipsets. I believe my friend had some difficulty setting up his Vive and had to buy a different USB PCIE card.

Phone notifications on the HTC Vive

I know with my Windows Phone I was able to send notifications to my PC. I haven't played around with WMR but I think the notifications going to the headset would be a great idea. It just needs to be implemented well. The notifications I get on the GearVR are rather obtrusive.

What brought your attention into VR

I always wanted one but when I got to try Space Pirate Trainer on a friend's Vive I was blown away. It was incredible and I worked up a sweat playing that game. He had several people over and we spent hours playing games rotating in and out. Trying out demos. It was a blast.

    Beyond gaming....

In addition to that I'd wager that VR has the ability to reduce costs for things like simulators. Currently they have to build a massive mock up of the vehicle for the simulator then drive several large displays and cutting a good bit of that down to a headset could be great.

    What's the point?

Honestly I bet an online D&D campaign would be amazing in VR. Even if you're just sitting around the table as you characters. I think the ability for VR to take us to another world and make us feel like we're there and completing those actions is the point. Look at everything that has persisted...

The Ready Player One SPOILER-FILLED discussion thread

Also valid. I'd almost wager then you'd see kind of a fork in VR technology that would mimic that. You'll get the crazy cool stuff pushed towards the enthusiasts and the cheaper, easier towards the "casual" market.

The Ready Player One SPOILER-FILLED discussion thread

I'd really have to agree with you on that one. That part bothered me. But yes I think the feedback suits and omnidirectional treadmills are really the next big steps for VR and it will be awesome.

    Beyond gaming....

I'd also say as media. Right now short of getting a screen and 3d projector nothing we have at home can really give the sense of scale that going to the theater can. A VR Headset could do just that. Another option would be tele-presence walkthroughs of facilities or venues.

    Fallout VR

What are everyone's thoughts on Fallout VR. I'm a huge Fallout fan and a coworker just bought the Vive and says the VR version still struggles with performance on an i7 and GTX1080. What are your experiences?

Man I'd love to win this. I've been itching to play some VR after I first Tried it at a friends house.
