Would love to have this. One of the main reason for trading my L620 for L730 was volume button getting bricked often. After that, am slightly skeptical regarding volume buttons frequent usage.

Guys, pls do not apply any screen guard. It interferes with the proximity sensor and causes issues such as screen going black when you make a call, unresponsive double touch etc. I removed the screen guard from my L730 and everything seems just fine now

Since couple of days, Whats app on my L620 appears to be working better. Its lot more stable now - in terms of staying connected and notifications. Hope it remains so. Fingers crossed!

Savio, Tried all other options available in this regard but in vain. Gave a shot at steps mentioned by you. Hope for the best. Thanks for sharing.

My friend did and he received a reply from Whats app support saying they are aware of it and they are on the job. When the same would be resolved is a million dollar question! The wait continues..

Bingo! This is precisely my observation as well. After two updates, it was working like a charm - no lags, no freeze, no delay in notification, improved battery life etc... But now again back to square one!

My wife has 520 and the capacitive buttons doesnt glow irrespective of the fact whether battery saver is turned on or not. But it does glow in my L620. Hope my wife doesnt discover this :devil:

Going through everyone's posts and personal experience with my L620; looks like things were working fine with initial 2 updates that were released back to back. Whats app was working without any flaw. Battery life had improved by 20-30% as well but subsequent updates (.506 onwards) made things...

With my L620, I have noticed that battery life was much better with initial 2 updates that we received ( I guess .491) Once I updated to .506, battery life has gone bad again (like in API days). And my usage has remained pretty much similar. Any body here has observed the same?

This is where Nokia is battling it out with restricted OS. Though its a fluidic one, Nokia is forced to ditch few of the 'basic features or functionality'. Ironically, Nokia was known and became popular due to certain basic but essential features it used to offer in its earlier generation phones

When I bought my L620, none in my family, friends or colleagues had a WP. In a matter of 3 months, the count has increased to 6 :cool:

^^ I have noticed this generally happens if Whats app is exited through Windows button and a chat window is open while exiting.

So any further changes or improvement in version 2.10.506.0 ?
