I would feel cheesed about an upgrade dropping less than a month after I bought one of these things.... except it's not really an upgrade still waiting on the convertible touchscreen guys...

Y'know - a lot of these improvements could be made on both ends. If microsoft made a better OS, then we'd have a more functional redfly. Not that winmo is "that bad" but it could be a lot better. The fact that celio had to write a display driver to "spoof" the OS is pretty indicative of this...

I think I read in here somewhere that the USB ports won't recognize external HDDs. Any truth to this rumor, or was the HDD formatted in ntfs rather than fat32?

I wouldn't worry about the blog. Drop the developer's stuff off at xda and watch it go.

Looks like things are pretty easily replaceable. Cool. Also doesn't look like there's as much room on either side of the screen. Plenty of room under the keyboard though. hmmmmmm.

Hey all - I just tried out the free comic book reader pictopocket on my redfly - works great. This raises another plus for this product. I'd never try to read sandman on my tilt, but it works great on the redfly's screen. I need a tutorial on e-books. Anybody got a reference for me?

The only thing I can really see that would take this product waaaay over the top would be a touchscreen in a convertible shell setup. Any way this might happen?
