Re: Microsoft Band 2 battery indication floating(inaccurate) I as well. I wonder, are any of you in the preview program for Win10 mobile? It may be the latest firmware for the band itself but perhaps the fast ring updates are doing something like the phone is communicating with the band too...

Re: Cortana and possible battery fix I didn't notice that there is a "show all apps" option on the bottom of the battery saver list, but it would still be a good idea to boot up all your apps at least once to populate the voice search feature/make sure the app doesn't set itself to a background...

I'm simply replying to this thread so I can keep track of it, but to at least contribute something: The frustration of trying to have Cortana recognize fox instead of box is high, but I have noticed that she recognizes it better if you sing the phrase. Clearly she is trolling us...

Confirming what others are saying, it's simply so drained of battery it needs more time to charge before it can turn on. I suspect this is to prevent the possibility of the phone dying mid boot up, which sometimes screws things up.

What I have noticed is that apps that I have blocked from running in the background in 8.0 are now running in the background. I think the update accidentally reset the app list, and now every single app that you boot up for the first time will automatically run in the background until you change...
