What version of Windows 10? I have a newly bought refurb 1520, with the latest 1709 update and so far, I have not exhibited any of those problems. Have you reset the phone and set it back up as a new phone yet?

Thanks, I will give it a try when I receive the phone next week. I would like to give the XL a swing but, it is not worth $200 anymore, since the OS is essentially dead. For $40 though, the 1520 is worth messing around with.

I went ahead and bought a refurbished Lumia 1520 for $40 well, just because. :D However, if it does not have Windows 10 Mobile already installed when I receive it, what must I do to upgrade it please? I know that the Windows Insider path is dead but, what about WDRT? Thanks.

I have 4 desktop computers at home that I have built, no laptops, no tablets and one cell phone, an Essential phone. I prefer to choose what hardware goes into my computing devices and except for when I am out and about or on the toilet, I am on one of my desktops computers and enjoying them...

What about an unlocked Alcatel Idol 4s for Windows 10 Mobile? It comes with a charger, clear case and I would just like $50 for it, including shipping. If you cannot afford that, let me know, I can go lower. (Not really using it at all anymore.) As far as I know, it is a GSM only phone.
