    I have a doubt. i recently tried to use wifi from my lumia 520 and tried to send whatsapp messages. but they aren't getting sent. it seems data connections needs to be on . is it so . i use a virtual router to create wifi spot from my laptop .

    i started to use a lumia 520 of late. I 'm unable to send whatsapp messages from my phone , even though the wifi is on. it expects data connection to be on too (ie 2g/3g) . Am i missing something ?
