Windows 10 launcher on Google pixel is very convincing

I might give this another try, but I don't see that it is as feature rich as SquareHome2. Have you tried that?

    Soo... About those Android Launchers

I did use Microsoft Launcher for most of a year, but use SquareHome2 now. I do have one app that doesn't (Line) that doesn't show notification badges. Otherwise, quite liking this launcher, including "cubes."

My frustrating attempt to move to Android.

I switched to android in January. First thing I did was search for and install outlook, office apps, One drive. I use the Microsoft Launcher. Used it since it was Arrow beta. A found a site that allowed me to install Groove and Cortana. I do use lots of Google services, but also Firefox and...

    My windows vs Android experience

Love the Arrow Launcher. In the Beta program and so I get the latest and greatest. Funny how you settled on Textra as well. I do miss my live tiles though. Good luck with your Android.

    My windows vs Android experience

I love Windows 10 Mobile and I am still updating my 950, as we speak. However, I have used Windows Phones in Japan, with no carrier support, no 4G support, lousy Here/Bing Maps, and mediocre searches. Since I was using an Apple 3Gs Sim card, cut to a MicoSim, cut to a NanoSim, I thought if I...

Just got my lumia 950 xl, love WP 10! Why is WP having a hard time?

I do agree, using an old Nexus 5x now.....but.....it is not the phone I wanted and many of the reasons relate to Windows Phone and the 950. I am waiting to get an unlocked Sony Xperia.... 1) Camera button! 2) Improved superior camera 3) Expandable memory I am already loaded with MS apps on my...

Just got my lumia 950 xl, love WP 10! Why is WP having a hard time?

I agree it is complex, but I have a long history with Windows Phones and Windows on Phone. I came from Pocket PC to a Toshiba Windows Mobile with slide out keyboard. It was sweet, but I had problems with Toshiba and the carrier supporting. I ended up on iPhone 3Gs, and hated almost everything...

W10M Insider Preview 14361 Discussion (Redstone Branch, inactive)

Re: W10M Insider Preview 14361 Issues (Redstone Branch, Fast Ring) That happened to me on the previous build. I had never seen that behavior before. I think the restart was just slow and perhaps waiting longer would have let it restart. However, while it took two tries (all the while cursing...

W10M Insider Preview 14356 Issues (Redstone Branch, Inactive)

This latest build for the fast track is the most stable so far. Battery life is better, though not perfect. That also has to do with the types of apps run (Facebook, Tweetium seem the most labor intensive). I have had far fewer restarts and freezes that aren't related to specific apps. That...

Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview 14322 Issues (Redstone Branch)

I had this in the last build, and discovered that for some reason, the language I had switched to (Canadian English, eh) suddenly showed it needed attention. I removed it and returned to US English (duh) and my Band 2 still synced and the keyboard Word Flow returned. Try checking if you need to...

Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview 14322 Issues (Redstone Branch)

The image was fixed on the Glance screen, but now is not "glance-able." Should be able to hover my screen and have it wake. Did fix the stuck Store apps, but only if you do a work-around of installing a new app and pausing all before it downloads completely. That was on Desktop and on Mobile...

Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview 14322 Issues (Redstone Branch)

Actually, Groove is working better for me and is greatly improved on Desktop. But I feel your pain on many other apps.

Windows 10 Mobile Insider Preview 14322 Issues (Redstone Branch)

Issues I have: Netflix started working again "Yay" Tweedium is broken now. More puzzling - I am having issues with the Store on Mobile and Desktop. I installed 2 new apps (Mw Tweet to replace temporarily Tweedium and an app of the day). I also attempted to uninstall Tweedium and reinstall. All...

    640: Budget Phone Durability Champion

Re: 640 beats the iPhone Lumia phones are notoriously good. I can't count the number of times I dropped my 920, with it even skittering across a train plaform. The curled corners being the only tell-tale sign of the drops, proving that polycarbonate will often even beat metal phones. And I have...
