Thanks for your response. Lack of updates is exactly where I felt LG let me down. My g2x got few updates, and once the last one showed up it slowed the phone down to a miserable crawl. So, not having a lot of faith in LG... But again - appreciated!

Yes, you're right. I guess my gripe - other than that people are sheep - is that I think MS could have spent more and better and had its cake and eaten it too. With a strong presence in the mobile phone space it'd be easier to get people into the cloud services (etc) that MS is making most money in.

I'm still using my 950. I think I need a new battery, but other than that I still love it. The user-interface is beautiful. The live tiles are great. Camera is great. I'll switch to another OS once either the phone dies or I have to use a software that isn't supported. But I won't switch until...
