My 13.5" SB2 does it as well. Can really only hear it in a stone quiet room when on plugged in to AC and set to Best Performance. It's otherwise perfect, so I'm not playing return roulette.

Chrome is a battery hog. It's fast and great, but uses a lot of power. Not sure if there's a good way around that. Edge is much easier on the battery.

Edge sucks. Few features and is a battery killer. Fans ramp up on my SP3/i5. Chrome has all necessary features, but is also a processor hog. Firefox seems lean on the processor. Fans don't ramp up like with MS Edge. UI is too small to be touch comfortable though and the on-screen keyboard...

Ok, maybe I'm just too dense, but how the heck does one check for and update Windows app store apps on Windows 10?? Can't for the life of me find an option to do so?

So when I look at the Win 8 desktop on my SP3, the OneDrive icon in the bottom status bar tray has a yellow ! on it and says that three documents could not be synced. Yet when I go to the OneDrive app (admittedly it's a "modern" app on the SP3), it shows that all is synced and all files are up...

Second vote for Drawboard. It's great for reading and annotating scientific articles.

The MS account seems to be set up. My info is there and changes to existing notebooks get synced properly. I will try removing and re-adding my account when I have a few spare minutes and see what happens. Otherwise, the app is fully up to date as is Windows and the SP3 firmware.
