I have a laptop with Intel 7th gen i5 processor, 16gb ram and NVidia 1050 2gb. This runs Superhot and Arizona Sunshine VR games fine as well as latest games with decent quality, I'd be surprised if in reality the 1050 2gb wasn't sufficient for Steam VR games.

I have the Dell from PCWorld as well. I just have decent quality in ear ones (Fiio Ex1 which sound and work well,), not sure behind the neck ones would feel comfy as you've already got the HMD at back of head and wires trailing at the back.

For ipd just use a ruler to measure distance between centre of one eye to centre of the other, it's fairly easy.

Not sure what Austria is like though, it could be that MS online store was op's only option and there are no physical MS stores in Europe yet. In UK it's early days but the release is scattered, Amazon alone only lists 2 of the models (HP & Acer) and the Acer is listed as not in stock yet.

The release is a bit odd, I looked into ordering mine yesterday (UK), the Dell store and MS store were out of stock for the visor but the big electronics retailer Curry's were in stock, so ordered from them and arrived today.

I went for the Dell visor as well, the Samsung looks like it won't be in the UK for a while and the visor looks best of the rest. I like it so far, not too heavy, fairly easy to get used to. Wish the box it came in is smaller though!!

Fyi you can get the update 2 by signing up to Windows Insider (for the Windows 10 preview). Go though the process, signing up for the fast stream, then wait for the first update to install (WP 8.1 update 2). When installed, reset your phone otherwise it will continue to install Windows 10.

You can use an app to turn off the screen (e.g. Lock screen by baby dragon) but there isn't one to turn the phone completely off.

I just received mine on Thursday and it is great. I owned a Surface RT before and the Stream is better - that it cost me a quarter of the price is insane!
