I actually hate the new Outlook for Windows

I've intermittently tried this dreadful new Outlook, every few months, but haven't been able yet to stomach it and I go back to the old. Surely it's got to improve? Surely not! It's like a train wreck that hasn't happened yet. That doomed train was a long way off, coming down the track, but...

    Further Andromeda Speculation.

So long as it has a stylus.

    Live Tiles in Andromeda

Absatively posalutely. One of the things I miss most about W10M.

Cortana App vs MS Launcher Cortana on Android

I use Cortana through the Microsoft Launcher and it's made the whole android experience better, more polished and more complete. The real rival is Alexa which is becoming more integrated and more useful, particularly with the continued development of"skills".

Hi, my name is...and I'm a Windows 10 mobile addict

Lumia 1520 (one of my all-time favorites), Lumia 950-XL (a letdown after the long wait) and an HP Elite x3 (the still-reigning champ at handling email, documents, and OneDrive, calendar integration). But currently using a Samsung 8+ and now a Samsung Note 8 as my reluctant daily driver...

Replace or Upgrade my aging desktop? Recommendations?

Even though an update to an existing desktop saves money the "bang for your buck" can be puny and lacks that new car smell. I would love a top end Surface Book but that would be well over-budget.

How can a Windows user switch to a Google Phone?

If you are a "power user" of email and outlook get ready for a stepdown from what you are used to. I am using Newton and Outlook for Android but it isn't as good as Outlook on Windows Mobile And get ready for BLOAT!

    New HP Elite x3

Don't apologize for wanting an HP Elite x3. It is a very solid, very capable device. I use it everyday and every time I pick it up, I am reminded that I prefer it to my Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus which is a phone people don't usually feel they have to explain or apologize about. The x3 is...

What do you think about the CShell?

Hope springs eternal and all that, but it would be nice to settle down and into an actual, dependable OS and just produce and not have to be waiting, waiting, waiting. . . . on promises, promises, promises. . . for rumors, leaks, alphas, betas, builds. . . . Always early adopting, never getting...

    That's it. I'm done.

Can't blame you. I tend to do a hard reset every so often which seems to clean up these sorts of bugs that survive updates. But that takes time and bandwidth. But you can avoid bugs and the device runs faster and cleaner and it gives me a chance to clear out some old programs that I seldom...

Will Windows Central survive the death of Windows Mobile?

I hope so. I currently have 3 Windows Mobile devices, including my daily driver, all operational and in use. Where else can I go to get this kind of content? It's not that I'm unsympathetic to Windows Central's plight. WC is hanging fire like the rest of us while Microsoft dithers. And lets...

I keep coming back to Windows Phone

I never even left, so feel free to disregard this long-winded recount. I'm an AppGap Two-Time Loser, coming to WM from BlackBerry. From my initial BB-as-Daily-Driver pov, I was keenly aware that BB was like the 4th-Choice-If-Ever-We-Get-Around-To-It, so far as developer dollars, creativity...

Windows 10 Mobile build 15051 Discussion (Redstone 2; Fast Ring)

So far so good. Stable and fast. Only 2 minor issues. I had to do a soft reset to view youtube in landscape, and the "notifications" in settings was a little laggy in responding. On an HP Elite x3.

So is this true "Windows Phone is dead"?

That article reads like a misread from a car-tech site, for whom it was somehow surprising that Microsoft wasn't going to launch a new phone of their own at this year's MWC. No one, no where, no how thought Microsoft was bringing a "Surface Phone" to this year's MWC. So thanks for that...

    Windows 10 after BlackBerry 10

I've had nearly every Blackberry since their first color device and currently have a Passport and Priv as backups to my Windows Mobile HP Elite x3 and I previously used a 950 XL and a 1520 before that. I used to use a Z10 and then a Z30. I was hopeful that BB could fork Android in a way that...
