I use Cortana through the Microsoft Launcher and it's made the whole android experience better, more polished and more complete. The real rival is Alexa which is becoming more integrated and more useful, particularly with the continued development of"skills".

Even though an update to an existing desktop saves money the "bang for your buck" can be puny and lacks that new car smell. I would love a top end Surface Book but that would be well over-budget.

If you are a "power user" of email and outlook get ready for a stepdown from what you are used to. I am using Newton and Outlook for Android but it isn't as good as Outlook on Windows Mobile And get ready for BLOAT!

Can't blame you. I tend to do a hard reset every so often which seems to clean up these sorts of bugs that survive updates. But that takes time and bandwidth. But you can avoid bugs and the device runs faster and cleaner and it gives me a chance to clear out some old programs that I seldom...

So far so good. Stable and fast. Only 2 minor issues. I had to do a soft reset to view youtube in landscape, and the "notifications" in settings was a little laggy in responding. On an HP Elite x3.
