    Lumia 920 Screen Scratches

I straight up returned it and said it was like that when I got it (online). No questions asked. Unethical, maybe, but so is selling me a phone with defective coating.

Screen burn in possible using as a nightstand clock?

Pretty much impossible on an LCD.

    vibration motor rattling?

My old E71 has the best vibrate I've seen. N8 was great as well.

I heard snake oil works well too.

    Lumia 920 Scratched screen

The oleophobic coating is supposedly causing scratches. What good is gorilla glass if the top layer of the display is an order of magnitude easier to scratch and just as permanent?

    Lumia 920 Screen Scratches

I sent mine back to AT&T and said it was scratched when I received it. I'll let you know how that goes. Yeah it's unethical but I don't feel bad at all because the fact is Nokia/Corning released a shoddy product. They should be recalling these, but they'll probably just fix the next batch.

Lumia 920's screen is easy to scratch?

Re: Lumia 920's screen i easy to scratch? Yep I have a Cowon S9 with Gorilla Glass that I've used/abused daily for going on 4 years now and the screen looks almost brand new. I was GG's biggest supporter. Something's not right here.

    Not very scratch proof!

Dude, the same thing happened on my Lumia 920: http://forums.windowscentral.com/nokia-lumia-920/202390-2.htm#post1767303 It's supposedly the oleophobic coating that Gorilla Glass 2 uses. They need to do a mass recall on these things (highly unlikely though).

The camera is weighted with springs.

Lumia 920's screen is easy to scratch?

Re: Lumia 920's screen i easy to scratch? I'm not the only one now.

OK so here's the fat question: who's decided to return their device?

They have ways of objectively testing the accuracy of a display's color gamma/temperature/delta/etc., and AMOLED tends to have flat out false colors. RGBG pentile has an influence on this.

    Lumia 920 Screen Scratches

Nope, not BS. It honestly slid two inches slowly across my desk at work. I'm as dumb founded as you how it happened. Why the **** would I lie about it how it happened? I'm not trying trying to get my money back from a ****ing forum. Also the fact that the scratch is indented is telling imo that...

    Lumia 920 Screen Scratches

It doesn't matter if it's the coating or the glass, for all intents and purposes.

A picture of my phone's scratch: From sliding a couple inches off an open book onto my desk at work. The scratch is indented and you can feel it.
