15063 - Advanced Display Settings removal (looking for alternatives)

I just installed 15063 and to my dismay, the ability to customize text sizes of UI elements (former in the Display Control Panel) has been removed. I don't want to just scale everything larger -- the point of having a large monitor is to have more room for processing art and photography, not to...

    Step Count Issues

My FitBit overcounted like crazy. The Band seems to undercount. If you are just trying to show progress, then either will work as long as you keep comparing metrics from the same device. But do do the GPS training; it helps.

    Microsoft and their anti-consumer practices

I do, and I don't even have my music and video files up there. I'm a photographer and artist. I don't even have more than the past 2 years of files on OneDrive. The RAW files coming out of a modern full frame camera are big, and so are many PSD files. YOUR use case is not everyone's use...

    Caloric Intake

You can also integrate with MyFitnessPal -- basically the Band sends data to MFP and you use MFP instead -- but last time I tried it, MFP had many unresolved issues with the Band.

Is the MS Band 2 worth the price tag? Would it be better to get the first generation?

I have a Band 1, and while the 2 has some features I'd like, I don't plan to upgrade for $249. Maybe when the price comes down. Or Band 3 comes out. I also have my reservations about how the Band 2 will fit on me. The rigid curved part seems perfectly designed to not work at all on my wrist...

    MS Band Quality Issues?

I haven't had any of the issues people have reported. No separation, no corrosion, nothing. I've got some scratches on the bezel and scuffs on the wristband and that's it. Everything else works like new. That said, ANY metal in contact with your skin constantly can cause irritation...

Who Is Planning To Get Band 2?

It's pretty, but I'm skeptical of the curved screen and giant clasp. I have a very small wrist, so the Band is already proportionally huge and barely fits. And the inside of my wrist is flat, leaning toward concave. If my existing Band were curved, it'd have a big gap like a bangle bracelet...

How can I get rid of libraries under This PC?

Re: Geting rid of libraries under "This PC" Yes, I did. The icons point to the correct library location, except "Videos," which doesn't exist. Yes, they are libraries, they are the correct libraries in the correct location. (Again, except videos.) Is there some method, other than the...

How can I get rid of libraries under This PC?

Re: Geting rid of libraries under "This PC" Mine definitely point to my libraries. My libraries are on a different drive, tho, and not in my user profile. Maybe that's the difference? Just for grins I deleted one from my user profile and it still shows up under "This PC" (pointing to the...

How can I get rid of libraries under This PC?

Re: Geting rid of libraries under "This PC" Good workaround. Unfortunately, I use a lot of removeable media. All of those drives no longer show up under the "This PC" view. Which is a good thing... except when you need to access those drives. I think I'll try it for a while and see which...

How can I get rid of libraries under This PC?

Re: Geting rid of libraries under "This PC" I did this. It resets itself when there is a windows update and the entries come back.

How can I get rid of libraries under This PC?

Nope. It removes it from the Libraries section, but not "This PC"

How can I get rid of libraries under This PC?

That's the Libraries section, not the "This PC" section. Turning off all libraries works the same, but they appear in two places now. I'd upload a screenshot, but that's not working either; all I can do is select the file. Lovely, now I have a bunch of duplicate links to "Documents" that I...

How can I get rid of libraries under This PC?

Geting rid of libraries under "This PC" I finally installed Windows 10. My first reaction is "meh" (which is a big step up from my reaction to Windows 8), and I'm working through the things that annoy me one by one. I have been trying to hide the default libraries that Windows 10 created that...

    Sleep restoration

Hmmm. My feeling -- and I am by no means a sleep specialist -- would be that you'd want your heart rate during sleep to be significantly lower than your daytime heart rate and stay there for a long time. Then by HRV they would mean that difference. if your heart rate is rising an falling at...
