I generally tell people that if you don't want or can't afford a high end android (or Iphone) get a WP8. Low and midrange Lumias beat everything else in their price zones, especially for people who aren't too tech savvy. High end Lumias are awesome as well, but if you really want to tinker with...

That means your phone is on silent. Press one of the volume buttons and then you can toggle silent on/off in the top right corner.

A true successor? For me that would be the 1520 specs in a 925 body. Perhaps a slightly larger screen, cut the bezel and rock a 4.7" with the same device size. I mean the S4 is just slightly bigger than the 920 and it has a 5".

I'm not seeing a drastic change on my 920 yet. Stand-by consumption seems to be better, but I also feel browsing and gaming draws more power than normal. Need more time.

I normally use peek, but tried out always-on for a few hours just to test it. Using 4 alternating backgrounds (from the Glance Background BETA app) over 2 hours I got an average 1% per hour drain. And that's even from a L920, the AMOLED phones should do even better.

Still to early to tell, but I think my battery life is slightly worse after the update. And the phone seems to be heating up under lighter loads than before... Not sure what's going on. Did a soft reset, gonna see if it changes anything over the next few hours.

One way to do it is to make groups and monitor their feed. I know it's not exactly what you meant, but it's still a good solution I think. For example, you can have seperate feeds for friends, family, etc...
