I havent had the fan come on to much but when it does ive looked at the task manager and cpu was at 99%. I guess it depends on what your doing but playing videos medium web browsing ive seen almost no fan kick on or heat build up.

you need to set a pin first i just read that in little manual that came with the surface pro 4.

Did you download the new firmware update yet? If you have go to settings, accounts, and sign in options and you should see the option for it.

I cant seem to figure out a way to get full scaling on my surface pro 4. You tube and streaming games from steam. Im sure that there are other apps but if anyone knows how it would be greatly appreciated.

ya sorry but it may just be best to run chrome with adblock. it works great like that plus i hate adds. There currently is no adblock for edge browser.

I have found that if you go to the display settings and turn off the auto brightness option i haven't seen the issue again. I have been using chrome since so im not sure if that happens to help or not.
