Its only getting 3 hours of battery life with lite use:confused: Is there something wrong?

Picked up one yesterday at Best Buy, also picked up a Type Cover 2. I'm still putting it through it's paces. Updated it to 8.1 this morning. Only thing I can really complain about right now is the battery life. It's not very good, about 3.5 hours of constant use and it needs to be plugged in...

I've wondered the same about Samsung. Seems their Windows devices are a after thought and something just thrown together. The keyboard issues with the Ativ Smart PC's were ridiculous last year. This year they just added the "Tab" name and kept them pretty much the same. I'd love a Windows tablet...

Best Buy and others have the Surface Pro 128 gb for $599. Is it worth the $599 or is the new and improved Windows tablets (Like Surface Pro 2) on market worth the extra money? Also read this model can't be upgraded to Windows 8.1?

If Rockstar was to make GTA under those guidlines we'd all be playing Mario Kart:cool:

Not a power user by any means. Just everyday web surfing, email, light schooling, and basic everyday computing. I'm away from the house a lot so portability is important. My laptop is ancient now so its time to upgrade.

I can't decide on which would be best, a 2 in 1 or to buy a separate laptop and tablet. I like the idea of having a single device for both, but at the same time it seems you're getting a mixed bag of each. Either the 2 in 1 is a great laptop and a so so tablet, or a great tablet and a so so...

The Ativ Q is now set to be announced "early" 2014. It may happen after all.

I'd consider it, but $299 sounds a lot better:thumbup: Plus it'd be lower than Samsung's Note 8.

I'd buy it in a heartbeat if they made it. Hoping they do, I think it would sell pretty good.

I bought a Acer W3 at Office Depot a couple weeks ago on sale. I too thought it came with full Office but mine did not either. I ended up returning it.

I was excited when I first seen this tablet. I love the S-Pen and IMO Samsung's Windows 8 effort in the tablet/hybrid have not been very inspiring.....or executed well. The Ativ 700 and its keyboard problems were dismal. So when I seen the Q's specs that's what I wanted. The dual boot was good...

I just don't think they made that many to avoid what happened with the original Surface. Although it kind of doesn't make sense not to have them available at this time of the year.
