HTC Mogul owners: How do you like it?

the battery lasts longer on the Mogul than a Blackberry? may i ask which BLackberry? i find that very, very hard to believe. further, Blackberry devices are used by a vast majority of business professionals and typically via a BES. my personal experience (years as well) has been that a...

Upgraded HTC Touch coming to Sprint

and i'll say the same; i will give it a try like i have many other business minded devices. as long as it's small and is able to offer me easy text entry (this is where i question its ability) then i'm all for giving it a try against my trusty Blackberry Pearl. if i have to resort to stylus...

imagine if they could get rid of the bulkiness of sliders.....many WM devices would be almost perfect in my eyes (except for all of the clutter of course).

Upgraded HTC Touch coming to Sprint

i think you raise a valid point when stating that wm6 will not be easy enough for the mass market. i personally think that is why the iPhone and even Palm OS Treo's have proven to be popular in the marketplace. many here tend to forget that there is a distinctive difference between the...

Upgraded HTC Touch coming to Sprint

well, here's what CNET has to say about it.....they liked the touchscreen, and WM6, wi-fi and bluetooth (what, no 3G??? :) ). The bad: The Touch's tiny onscreen keyboard makes it a pain to enter any text, and the TouchFLO feature doesn't work in landscape mode. The SIM card and microSD...

Upgraded HTC Touch coming to Sprint

the thing is that the Touch has a small screen. install whichever 3rd party virtual keyboard app you want but it still won't be of much use when trying to type with your fingers given the limited screen space. not sure how fun that smaller screen will be when trying to view the internet...

c'mon, Mal, so do most other devices out there. it's all about how you actually enter that text that is so important. i'm sure you'd agree with that.

too bad you can't type on it (very easily, efficiently, or effectively). but as a stand alone cellphone (tiny screen won't be all that wonderful for web viewing) it sure isn't bad. as a fun phone, i personally would prefer an iPhone over the Touch given the iPhone's larger screen coupled with...

HTC Mogul owners: How do you like it?

^ sounds like that Oxios application is the way to go. i too liked the pros a lot, i think the device has a lot going for it as well. seems like these manufacturers always get sooooo close to producing a great product but always come up short of doing so. take care
