    Any SMS Manager Apps available?

I'm trying to find a decent SMS/TXT manager application, or a Windows Phone (8) setting that I can use to better control how much info is available on the phone. Ideally, what I'd like to do is have the phone auto-delete texts older than say, 30 days. (Right now, all I can do is delete my text...

Ban the post above you! Game!

    Banned for using unclear acronyms.

Old Games you wish they'd bring to Cellphones (Windows Phones 8)

There should be a port of a lot of the DOS shareware games from 2 decades ago: Commander Keen, Hugo's House of Horrors, Crystal Caves, et al are worth a revisit, and should be easily enough ported over.

Just Received an update from Samsung today

I'm also on Bell. I got my (first) notification of an update just his morning, and it's giving me the gears now. I was hoping to find out what the update contained, but I guess it's trivial...

    Something is stealing my data.

Until you figure out the cause, keep your WiFi turned on (and paired with work/home/school networks). At least you can mitigate how much data is leached off your mobile plan for a trivial loss in battery life.

For my job, I need to be able to prove my location using my phone.

None at all. On most Windows phones, just press the power button at the same time as the Windows key/icon. Badranath17 has it right though; it's much easier to just click "add location" (unless you're hoping to build a catalogue of mock locations to send in to work).

The 'Spring into TEGRA' Contest: Win a Tegra-powered Windows 8 RT Tablet!

Hello WPCentral, This is my application for a Tegra-powered Windows RT Tablet. As you can see in the (first) attached photo, my 5 year old laptop has given up the ghost. It is economically unfeasible for me to repair it, and replacement just isn't in the budget. Now, that's not to say that...

Anyone else getting annoyed that apps come out as "Lumia" exclusives?

"Two-tier" may be too strong of a description, but there is a definite have/have-not system in play. My personal experience with Nokia exclusivity comes from things other than games; Nokia Transit, City Lens, etc. They're not blockbuster apps like Netflix or Facebook, but still apps of quality...

Anyone else getting annoyed that apps come out as "Lumia" exclusives?

I'm on board with sniffs and nbktonic (posts #1 and #6); manufacturer exclusive apps are not good for the ecosystem as a whole. There's a lot of love for Nokia on this forum. I've seen several reasons backing up Nokia's stance: Nokia is doing it to promote their brand, Nokia is offering...
