Just spoke to store support. They went away to check and said they could not give me a date, but they requested a refund on the express shipping I paid for. Preordered on 28th October. 😠

Much improved for me on my 1020. Since 8.1 it's normally been at 60% by now (10 hours) currently sitting at 80% with more usage than normal.

My mistake, apparently I still have the Beta version installed, though I had switched back to the normal version.

Never turned it on. Luckily I have unlimited data so not using WiFi during the day isn't a problem.

3G data doesn't seem to be a problem for me with just push Exchange e-mail and light usage. Active usage on WiFi seems about the same as before, but just idle usage is much higher.

I've been experiencing high drain on my 1020 since 8.1, about twice normal. One thing I noticed was that it only drained higher when I was at work with WiFi on, so I tried turning WiFi off and the battery drain returned to pre-8.1 levels (3-5% an hour). Maybe something isn't quite right with...

I found turning WiFi off completely reduces the battery drain from 8-15% an hour to 3-5%, which is what is was like pre-8.1.

I'm beginning to suspect the same, I 'lost' 23% by rebooting my phone. Today it started off the same as before 8.1, about 4 hours to drop to 95%, then about 5-7% an hour for the rest if the day. Turned battery saver off and letting it run down completely to see just how low it will actually get...

I had GDR3 installed, Dev Preview still active.

I had the same thing, stuck there for 20 minutes then finished the rest in 30 seconds.
