Anyone interested we still have working Bands and I use the Surge when I work out to protect my Band 3 from that moisture.

Am still extremely pleased with the fitbit surge and the iPhone 6+ program, the Microsoft still not bug free and is somewhat of a pain in the *** at times and it won't Bluetooth with the Sync in my truck. Meanwhile the lil womans band 1 is already becoming a PITA to charge after just 3 weeks...

Inform Microsoft, get your FedEx barcoad and print it, send it to them and 10 days you get a new one. Love the Bands but also loved the Fitbit program just not the small screen on the Surge. I wear it when working out or working on the weekends.

It's good to have the Bands 1 & 2 back again they are so much better than the Surge but dream on for the Fix of a Good Band 3 !

The new replacement Band 2 is back on my wrist and the little woman wears the replacement Band. We will see again. I loved the Fitbit Surge and will use it for workouts. Only gripe about the Surge is its small screen size of printed words which require I wear no line bifocals all the time...

Both, the Band and Band II have been accepted by Microsoft for warranty return and replacement. Will see, meanwhile Fitbit Surge is on my wrist. Not as informative as the Band's and will miss the Stock Market updates. Will see what the Replacements are like from Microsoft when the new...

Band 2 is still troublesome to charge and will not sync with the puter to receive its updates, acts like it has lost its USB capability that way. The Battery charge thing I believe is due to sweat getting into the battery area and as it dries it charges better in a more reliable way. Still...

Well a month ago my Band 2 refused to update. Last night it refused to charge on its stand or charging cable. It showed 50% on its meter. After wiggling the strap it finally charged 96%. This charging thing has become a pain. There is no corrosion on the pins or cable. So on the surface...

Get the charging cradle to help with charging and hook it up to puter, put the health program on the puter. Then the phone and puter work seamlessly together and you charge the band and you get all updates automatically when hooked to the puter charging.

pair it to your laptop with bluetooth and cable and see if it then works

Retired mine after 6 months and purchased a Band 2, much better design. Band one showed a lot of corrosion on the metal parts with the battery charger hook up completely brass looking. It did its job but charging it was a continual hassel with the cleaning and constant corrosion...

You need to run maintenance and possibly check for a Trojan. I would suggest you also get google Chrome and remove Explorer. The IE will sometimes mess you up when downloading and it seems to be quite habit forming to do so. If you upgrade to windows 10 your problems of this sort will...

believe slight motion of the arm in a normal gate is how the watch reacts. You can set your smart phone & watch to gps and it will be more accurate but you will probably have to pay data charges.
