    SP3 Pen Grip

Does anyone else think that the surface pro 3 pen could use a grip? I designed this guy and I'm toying with the idea of starting a kickstarter for it, but I want to get some feedback from other SP3 users. I find that the grip greatly improves the ergonomics of the pen as well as the utility...

Grip for the SP3 surface pen?

This is just a 3-d print. I'm thinking of starting a kickstarter to get the funds to produce some of these guys in a more rubber like material (like a traditional pen grip).

Grip for the SP3 surface pen?

Wouldn't that cover the buttons though? And the surface pen is a bit thicker than a regular pencil. (at least that's how it feels)

Grip for the SP3 surface pen?

I agree with you, I like the weight, but the weight plus the sleek metal throws me off just a little. But my prototype is meant to keep the thumb near the buttons so it's more fluid to press the buttons

Grip for the SP3 surface pen?

I didn't take that into account when designing the prototype. I don't use the pen loop with my surface. I just stick the pen to the magnetic point on the charger input when I'm not using it. When the prototype arrives I'll experiment with the pen loop to see how it'll interact with it.

Grip for the SP3 surface pen?

Hey all, I?ve owned my surface pro 3 for a few months now and I love it. I?ve noticed a couple minor bugs here and there but nothing to bat an eye at. I use one note almost daily for my classes. It?s made note taking a breeze. I have one qualm with the surface pen though. It?s a tad too heavy...
